Brief for this project was to maximise the development potential of a narrow, inner-city plot. The site is in an historic and sensitive location. NUA worked closely with local design officers and the Greater London Authority to develop a scheme with character that was both commercially viable and acceptable to the planning authorities.

The building is in three sections with a visually lightweight steel and glass frame resting on a solid 2-storey stone-clad plinth and a metal-clad tail to the rear. The steel and glass structure is flanked by wafer-like elements comprising a mixture of balconies and timber screens.
